Learning Aid Ohio aims to provide in-person, supplemental learning support for students with IEPs or 504 Plans.
Let us connect you with Learning Providers to help your student stay on track toward their academic goals, specific to their individual needs, based on the curriculum their traditional teacher sets.
How does it work for families?
You can browse our list of learning providers to find the assistance you need for your family for free. Our learning providers have completed background checks, and are willing and able to offer supplemental support during this unprecedented time.
You must fill out an application and be approved by DSACO to begin services. If you have more than one student with an IEP or 504 Plan, please apply for each student on a separate application. Note: If you are an approved family receiving a grant, you cannot apply to also be a provider.

How does it work for learning providers?
Learning providers are able to apply through DSACO and if approved with supplied background check, Learning providers set their own rates of pay, typically commensurate with their education and experience. Please note: Learning Aid Ohio prohibits excessive rates that do not adhere to the intention of the program. Providers also must be willing to work in-person. If you have experience in, educational credentials in, and/or are good working with students with disabilities, we encourage you to apply.
You must fill out an application and be approved by DSACO to begin offering services. Please note: immediate family members, and those in the same household of an approved student, cannot apply to be providers.
Apply
You must be an Ohio resident. Your child must be learning on an IEP or 504 Plan during the 2021-2022 school year. You must be experiencing financial hardship.
Interview
Once a member, you will have the ability to book an introductory interview with any learning provider for free.
